SportsLine projects NFL Week 3 games through 10,000 simulations

CBS Sports has published SportsLine Projection Model picks for the remaining 15 NFL Week 3 games. The model simulated each matchup 10,000 times to estimate spread-cover probabilities and produce selected score predictions.

Among its spread projections, SportsLine gives the Lions a 66 per cent chance to cover as 6.5-point favourites and the Seahawks a 64 per cent chance as 7-point favourites. It assigns the Bills a 55 per cent chance to cover as 7-point favourites.

The model’s selected score forecasts include Bengals 23, Steelers 20; Seahawks 32, Commanders 17; Jaguars 25, Patriots 20; and Vikings 24, Buccaneers 22.

For Rams–Broncos, CBS Sports lists the Rams as 2.5-point road favourites, while the model projection says the Broncos have a 54 per cent chance to cover as 2.5-point underdogs. The package does not resolve the inconsistency in that line and attribution.
