SportsLine’s model has issued its Week 3 college football betting projections, recommending South Carolina to cover against Mississippi State and Notre Dame to cover against Michigan State.

CBS Sports reports that South Carolina, listed at -3.5 against Mississippi State, is projected to cover in nearly 60 per cent of simulations. The model also slightly favours the Under on the game’s 58.5-point total.

Notre Dame is listed as a 29.5-point favourite against Michigan State and is forecast to cover in almost 60 per cent of simulations. The Fighting Irish have won 12 consecutive games, all by double-digit margins, while Michigan State has lost 12 straight against AP top-five teams.

The week’s only top-10 matchup has LSU as a three-point road favourite against eighth-ranked Ole Miss. LSU is ranked seventh, and the six most recent meetings between the teams have been won by the home side.

Other listed Week 3 fixtures include Georgia at Arkansas, USC at Rutgers and Florida State at Alabama. SportsLine’s recommendations are model projections rather than confirmed outcomes, while the betting lines and totals remain subject to change.
