Western Conference Finals prop recommendations released as series levels at 1-1

SportsLine analysts Mike Barner, David Bearman, and Larry Hartstein have released player prop recommendations for Game 3 of the 2026 NBA Western Conference Finals between the Oklahoma City Thunder and the San Antonio Spurs. The series is currently tied 1-1, with the Spurs hosting Game 3 at 8:30 p.m. ET in an attempt to take a 2-1 series lead.

Barner recommends the 'over' on Victor Wembanyama’s combined rebounds and assists total, citing his strong performance in the first two games. The line is set at 17.5, and Barner notes that Wembanyama averaged 31.0 points, 20.5 rebounds, and 4.5 assists in the opening contests. He highlighted that Wembanyama posted 27 combined rebounds and assists in Game 1, which went to double overtime, and recorded 23 combined in Game 2 over 37 minutes.

Bearman advises against betting on Thunder centre Chet Holmgren, noting he is averaging just 10.5 points per game against the Spurs this season. Holmgren is shooting 39.6% from the field, well below his 55.7% season average, and has not attempted more than 10 shots in any game against San Antonio this year. His over/under for total points in Game 3 is 13.5.

Hartstein suggests backing Spurs forward Julian Champagnie for scoring opportunities, highlighting his 40% three-point shooting in the postseason and improved home shooting percentage (46.2%) compared to his road performance. This recommendation comes as the Spurs face injury concerns in the backcourt, with De'Aaron Fox and Dylan Harper listed as questionable.

The experts are currently on winning streaks, with Barner returning over $2,300 in betting profit for $100 players on his NBA player props and Bearman on a 16-8 roll. Barner holds a 133-92 record on his NBA picks, while Hartstein points out that Champagnie’s role may expand due to the potential absence of other Spurs players.
