Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba has been named a member of the exclusive '99 Club' for Madden NFL 27, receiving an overall rating of 99. The announcement was confirmed on Monday, 27 July 2026, via a tweet by ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

Smith-Njigba joins a select group of elite players in the top tier of the video game franchise. The other members of the Madden 27 '99 Club' include Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen, Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase, Arizona Cardinals tight end Trey McBride, Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matt Stafford, and Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett.

The accolade follows a statistically dominant 2025 season for Smith-Njigba. He set a Seahawks franchise record with 119 receptions and led the entire league with 1,793 receiving yards. During that campaign, the wide receiver was on pace to surpass Calvin Johnson’s single-season receiving record of 1,964 yards, set in 2012, though he finished just short of that mark.

Membership in the '99 Club' is widely regarded as a significant marker of brand growth and recognition among younger, video game-playing fans. The rating reflects the player's on-field performance and standing within the league, serving as a digital benchmark for elite status.

Smith-Njigba’s inclusion underscores his transition into one of the NFL’s premier offensive weapons. With the 2026 season approaching, the Seahawks star enters the year with the highest possible rating in the latest edition of the Madden video game franchise.
