Sky Sports Racing to cover Windsor and Lingfield feature cards

Sky Sports Racing has confirmed it will broadcast live coverage from Windsor and Lingfield on Thursday evening. The network’s cameras will focus on two tracks hosting competitive racing cards, with the primary feature being the RIP Susan Procter Memorial Handicap at Windsor.

The feature race from Berkshire is scheduled to start at 7.41pm. It will see horses including Law Court and City Of Poets compete against an in-form trio of rivals. The drop in class and increased trip for City Of Poets may aid his recovery after being partially hampered in the Coral Challenge on Eclipse day. Law Court, who ran on in a competitive mile handicap at Glorious Goodwood, also holds strong claims up in trip following previous form at Sandown.

The in-form rivals include A Major Payne, Bold Impact, and Parlando, all of whom won their last starts. A Major Payne, who won over the course and distance, will be ridden by Billy Loughnane, who is currently seeking his maiden jockeys' championship crown. King’s Code returns down in class following a success at Chester last month, while Auld Toon Loon returns to his last winning mark.

At Windsor, the Matchbook Betting Exchange Supporting UK Racing Maiden Stakes features Waterford Castle, trained by George Boughey. The ten-race maiden faces Partying, a Frankel filly bought for 4.4 million guineas. Waterford Castle has previously finished second to Archers Bay and placed in the King George V Stakes at Royal Ascot.

Coverage also extends to Lingfield, where the Become a Friend of Racing Welfare Fillies' Novice Stakes will take place. Neswick, owned by Kirsten Rausing, opposes Neswick in the race. Neswick placed fifth on handicap debut at Wolverhampton, while Dove Tale, trained by John and Thady Gosden, placed at Kempton on her first start at three.
