Rosas Jr and Barcelos to headline UFC Vegas 121 at Meta Apex
The UFC returns to the Meta Apex after a six-week run of road events, with both main-event fighters set for their first UFC headline bout.
UFC Vegas 121 is scheduled for Saturday at the Meta Apex, following six weeks of events on the road. Raul Rosas Jr is set to face Raoni Barcelos in a bantamweight main event.
Yahoo Sports says the bout will be the first UFC main event for both fighters. Rosas, 21, faces Barcelos, 39, an 18-year age gap.
The card also lists Norma Dumont against Ailin Pérez as the co-main event, alongside finals fights from The Ultimate Fighter 34.
Yahoo Sports’ preview predicts a Rosas Jr win, pointing to his youth and recent form. It also notes that Barcelos has won five consecutive fights; the preview says Rosas has won five of his last five.
