The 41-year-old Portugal captain, who plays for Al-Nassr, told the publication that it is "probably my last year of football," marking a shift from previous comments where he suggested he might play for one or two more years.

Ronaldo, who has scored 976 goals for club and country over a career spanning more than two decades, expressed a desire to leave a "spectacular legacy" before stepping away from the sport. The five-time Ballon d'Or winner made the comments following Portugal's exit from the World Cup earlier this year, a tournament where he was unable to add a World Cup title to his list of honours.
