Roc Boys Football ranks Texas A&M receiving pair sixth nationally
Mario Craver and Isaiah Horton identified as top-tier duo following significant roster turnover and NFL Draft departures.

Roc Boys Football has ranked Texas A&M wide receivers Mario Craver and Isaiah Horton as the sixth-best duo in the United States ahead of the 2026 college football season. The assessment comes as the Aggies prepare for a campaign defined by significant roster changes and high expectations for their offensive capabilities.
The ranking highlights a strategic shift for Texas A&M, which lost ten players to the 2026 NFL Draft, including star transfer wide receiver KC Concepcion. To address the vacancy at the X receiver position, head coach Mike Elko and offensive coordinator Holmon Wiggins recruited Horton, a 6ft 4in target who recorded eight touchdowns during his single season with Alabama.
Horton’s size complements the profile of Mario Craver, who transferred from Mississippi State prior to the 2025 season. Standing at 5ft 9in, Craver operates primarily in the slot and is noted for elite speed and NFL-level route running. His breakout performance included a career-high 207 receiving yards against Notre Dame, featuring an 86-yard touchdown reception.
The pairing is expected to function alongside Ashton Bethel-Roman and Terry Bussey in a rotation described as borderline elite. This depth is intended to provide a significant advantage in the passing game, allowing quarterback Marcel Reed to utilise more deep shots and leverage Craver’s ability to make plays after the catch.
Reed, a redshirt junior returning for his third season, enters the 2026 campaign following a career year in which he threw for 3,169 yards, 25 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions. The combination of Reed’s experience and the new receiving corps has led to speculation that the duo could be instrumental in Texas A&M’s bid to return to the College Football Playoff for a second consecutive season.
