Replenish Nutrients plans multi-plant scale-up after Spanish River investment
Spanish River Carbonatite has taken a strategic stake in Replenish Nutrients, with CEO Tim Close becoming chairman as the companies pursue concurrent plant commissioning and a proposed Beiseker expansion.

Replenish Nutrients Holding Corp says its relationship with Spanish River Carbonatite could support a significant production scale-up, including the concurrent commissioning of three or four plants.
The companies’ relationship began as Replenish evaluated Spanish River Carbonatite’s material for use in its product blends. Spanish River subsequently made a sizable strategic investment in Replenish, while its chief executive, Tim Close, became Replenish’s chairman.
Close described Spanish River’s northern Ontario carbonatite as containing calcium, potassium, phosphate, magnesium, trace and micronutrients, and beneficial microbes. Replenish says it is continuing to assess how the material can be incorporated into its products.
A proposed additional 150,000-ton expansion at Replenish’s Beiseker operation is a key part of the scale-up plan. The company said the investment would facilitate the expansion, though its timing, funding and completion have not been specified.
Replenish chief executive Neil Wiens said the company had reached an operational “inflection point” after its scale-up efforts. The next stages will include executing the production ramp-up, progressing the Beiseker proposal and assessing whether the combined offering can support broader product adoption.
