Reform UK receives reported £36m donation from Christopher Harborne
The reported contribution matches a donation from Ben Delo as Reform faces scrutiny from police and parliamentary authorities.

Cryptocurrency billionaire Christopher Harborne has reportedly donated £36 million to Reform UK, matching a contribution of the same amount from fellow billionaire Ben Delo.
The Guardian Politics reported that the joint donations are among the largest ever made to a UK political party. The contributions are expected to intensify calls for limits on political donations.
Reform leader Nigel Farage said he was “honoured and humbled” by the donations. He said the money would allow the party to contest the next general election on a “level playing field”.
The donations come as Reform’s finances face scrutiny. The Metropolitan Police is conducting an inquiry into the party’s finances, while Farage is subject to a parliamentary standards investigation concerning a £5 million gift from Harborne made before Farage was elected an MP in 2024.
Reform UK and Farage deny wrongdoing. Harborne said he expected nothing in return for his donations, including no peerage or policy change.
