Raaheeb set for Winter Hill Stakes return at Windsor
The Shadwell-owned runner will contest the Group 3 race after finishing fourth in the Irish Derby.
Raaheeb is scheduled to return to racing in the Group 3 Weatherbys Global Stallions App Winter Hill Stakes at Windsor on Monday.
Owned by Shadwell, the horse is a brother to Baaeed and Hukum. He began his career with a win at two before taking the Classic Trial at Sandown.
Raaheeb’s most recent reported result was a fourth-place finish in the Irish Derby, where he travelled strongly before tiring late under Rossa Ryan.
Sky Sports identified Venetian Prince and Maho Bay among the potential opposition. Venetian Prince won the Italian Derby in June, while Maho Bay was reported to have run creditably at Royal Ascot after encountering trouble in the home straight.
Sky Sports said Raaheeb could be suited by the time given to develop physically and mentally, and assessed him as capable of making a strong return. The report does not confirm the outcome of the Winter Hill Stakes.
Racing is also scheduled at Newton Abbot and Wolverhampton, with 22 domestic races set to be shown live on Sky Sports Racing.
