Pulisic reportedly left out as Sullivan, Mehmeti line up for USA invitations
Fox Sports reports that Christian Pulisic will miss the United States’ upcoming exhibition squad, while teenagers Cavan Sullivan and Adri Mehmeti are expected to receive senior-team invitations.

Christian Pulisic is expected to be omitted from Mauricio Pochettino’s next United States men’s squad, according to multiple unnamed sources cited by Fox Sports.
The USA is due to play exhibition matches against Chile, Peru, Canada and Mexico. US Soccer had not officially announced the squad in the supplied material.
Sixteen-year-old Philadelphia Union midfielder Cavan Sullivan is reportedly included and could challenge Freddy Adu’s record as the youngest US men’s international. Sullivan has scored five goals and supplied six assists in his past seven MLS matches, with six goals in 23 appearances this season.
Red Bull New York midfielder Adri Mehmeti, 17, is also reportedly in line for his first senior-team invitation. Fellow American Yunus Musah is expected to be included, Fox Sports reported.
Pulisic, who has 90 international caps and 33 goals, recently returned from injury and assisted for AC Milan against Lazio after coming off the bench. Fox Sports linked his reported omission to his injury history and a previously strained relationship with Pochettino following his decision to miss the 2025 Concacaf Gold Cup, but no official explanation was provided.
