Four-time Formula One world champion Alain Prost sustained a head injury during the incident in Nyon, with authorities confirming that perpetrators remain at large.

Swiss police are investigating an alleged home invasion at the residence of four-time Formula One world champion Alain Prost in Nyon, Switzerland. The incident occurred on Tuesday morning, resulting in a head injury for the 71-year-old driver and prompting an extensive search operation by local authorities.
According to a statement from the public prosecutor’s office, several intruders wearing balaclavas broke into the property while occupants were present. The perpetrators threatened the individuals inside and inflicted minor head injuries on one family member under circumstances that remain to be established.
Swiss tabloid Blick reported that the intruders forced Prost’s son to open a safe before fleeing the scene with stolen goods. Police confirmed that after inflicting the injuries, the group compelled another family member to open a safe before escaping with items that are yet to be fully identified.
Prost, who won world championships between 1985 and 1993, was described as visibly shaken by the intrusion. He has since left the home located in the canton of Vaud beside Lake Geneva. Police have not yet apprehended the perpetrators, and a precise inventory of the stolen items is currently being compiled.
The investigation remains active as authorities work to identify the suspects involved in the robbery. The incident highlights the vulnerability of private residences to armed intrusion, with Swiss law enforcement urging the public to remain vigilant as the search continues.
