Manchester City remains a primary target for England midfielder Elliot Anderson, while Liverpool have expressed interest in Ivory Coast winger Yan Diomande. The prospect of Manchester City securing Anderson has intensified following his performance in England’s opening World Cup victory over Croatia. Anderson played the full 90 minutes and provided a key assist for Jude Bellingham’s second-half goal. Nottingham Forest are understood to seek a record fee for a British player if they agree to sell, having already rejected Manchester City’s second offer worth £120 million. Liverpool’s attention is focused on Yan Diomande, who delivered a player-of-the-match performance for Ivory Coast in their 1-0 win over Ecuador.
