Luke Littler and Luke Humphries are widely considered certain participants in the 2027 edition. Littler is projected to retain the world number one ranking regardless of subsequent tournament outcomes. Humphries, who has faced Littler in the Premier League final for the past three years, is also expected to feature; should he fall outside the top four on the Order of Merit, he is anticipated to receive a wildcard selection. The top four players on the Order of Merit following the World Championship automatically qualify for the league.

Gian van Veen is also expected to secure a place in the field, likely finishing second or third on the Order of Merit. Wessel Nijman is tipped to potentially make his Premier League debut if he maintains his current ranking trajectory. Projections suggest Nijman could finish between fifth and seventh on the Order of Merit, provided he achieves a quality run in a major tournament and continues to accumulate prize money on the Pro Tour.
