Paris des Arts turns its focus to Geneva’s artists and Old Town

France 24’s Paris des Arts has published a special edition from Geneva, featuring two artists who have made the Swiss city their home and a walk through its Old Town.

Host Valérie Fayolle meets Danny Khezzar, who leads the team at the Michelin-starred Bayview restaurant. Khezzar discusses his shared passion for music and cooking, describing both as creative pursuits that begin with a blank canvas.

The programme also visits the studio of Omar Ba, a Senegalese-born painter who has lived in Geneva for more than 20 years. Ba describes painting as a way to express his views on events and injustice.

A final segment takes viewers through Geneva’s Old Town, including landmarks from the Reformation period.
