Osaruyi uses Kentucky visit to assess basketball fit

Paul Osaruyi’s official visit to Kentucky gave the four-star 2027 centre a chance to assess how he might fit coach Mark Pope’s programme. He visited Lexington over the weekend, according to Yahoo Sports.
Osaruyi watched the Wildcats practise and spent time around the team. He told KSR, in comments relayed by Yahoo Sports, that he was looking at Kentucky’s playing style and how he could fit within it.
He also saw Rupp Arena for the first time, describing the prospect of playing there as “pretty surreal”.
Osaruyi said he is seeking a programme that suits him and can support his development towards the NBA. The report lists West Virginia, Indiana, Mississippi State, North Carolina, Arkansas and Kansas among the schools pursuing him.
The visit does not amount to a commitment: Osaruyi has not announced a decision.
