Oregon receiver Jalen Lott ruled out of Oklahoma State game
Jalen Lott will miss Oregon’s 12 September game after minor hand surgery, while Iverson Hooks could return from a hamstring issue.
Oregon receiver Jalen Lott will miss the Ducks’ non-conference game against Oklahoma State on 12 September after undergoing minor corrective surgery on his hand, coach Dan Lanning said.
Iverson Hooks, who missed Oregon’s season-opening win over Boise State with a hamstring issue, could return against the Cowboys. Lanning said Hooks had tweaked the hamstring but expected him to be available, although his status remains provisional.
Oregon opened the season with a 28–17 win over Boise State on 5 September despite being without both receivers. Quarterback Dante Moore completed 28 of 37 passes for 378 yards and three touchdowns, with Jeremiah McClellan, Dakorien Moore and Evan Stewart each producing strongly.
Defensive tackle Tony Cumberland remains unavailable after an off-season car accident. Freshman defensive tackle Anthony Jones also missed the Boise State game, but the reason for his absence has not been provided.
Dillon Gresham remains on Oregon’s roster after suffering a season-ending neck injury in August 2025. His playing future is uncertain, with Lanning previously saying there was no clear medical indication that he would be able to contribute in the future.
