Ondo Finance Tokenised Equity Platform Clears $1 Billion in Value Locked
The platform, restricted to eligible non-U.S. persons, sees turnover reach 26 times its current asset base amid surging activity on major exchanges.
Ondo Finance’s tokenised stock platform has surpassed $1 billion in total value locked, processing $27 billion in cumulative trading volume since its launch in September 2025. The milestone underscores accelerating adoption of tokenised U.S. securities, with the platform now supporting more than 440 tokenised stocks and exchange-traded funds. Each token is backed by the corresponding security held through licensed U.S. custodial broker-dealers.
The trading figures indicate a cumulative turnover rate of approximately 26 times the current total value locked. This activity is distributed across centralized exchanges, decentralized venues, and primary mint-and-redeem flows. Centralized exchanges have accounted for $18 billion of the total volume, with $206 million of tokenised assets currently held across Binance, Gate, Bitget, and MEXC.
Growth has extended beyond spot equities into derivatives. Ondo Perps, launched in July, has cleared more than $8 billion in cumulative volume, including over $5 billion in the past 30 days. Open interest for the product has reached as high as $87 million, with recent daily trading volumes topping $350 million.
The company’s broader product suite has now crossed 200,000 holders, representing a rise of nearly 20 per cent over the past month. Ondo Stocks alone accounts for 186,636 cumulative holders. Monthly transfer volume across the entire ecosystem reached $2.82 billion, marking a 25.37 per cent increase month over month.
Treasury products are also expanding alongside the equities business. USDY has grown to $2.15 billion in total asset value across 12 networks, more than doubling since the start of 2026. Ethereum holds the largest share at $1.1 billion, followed by Stellar, Sei, and Solana.
Ondo Stocks remains restricted to eligible non-U.S. persons, and Ondo Perps is similarly unavailable in the United States and other restricted jurisdictions. The digital token ONDO is currently trading at $0.33 U.S. dollars.
