FOX Sports has released RJ Young’s latest personal college football top 25 following a chaotic Week 3, with Ole Miss moving up and LSU dropping back.

Texas A&M, SMU, Virginia and Houston fell out of Young’s rankings after losses. Texas A&M was beaten by unranked Kentucky at home, SMU lost to Louisville, Virginia was defeated by West Virginia and Houston lost to Texas Tech in its first ranked matchup.

Young identified Indiana, Georgia, Miami and Notre Dame as the four teams at the top of his assessment that had yet to show obvious flaws after three weeks. He also cautioned that each still has ranked opponents to face before their credentials can be judged conclusively.

The rankings also included four new teams, although the supplied FOX Sports material does not identify them or confirm the exact positions of the teams that moved. Young’s list followed notable Week 3 wins by Virginia Tech, Mississippi State, Iowa, North Dakota State, Michigan and Tennessee.

The rankings are Young’s personal FOX Sports selection rather than an official college football poll. His assessment of teams showing “no flaws” is an opinion and not a definitive performance measure.
