Ohtani leads MLB jersey sales rankings for fourth straight season
The Dodgers star tops rankings compiled from Nike jersey sales across Fanatics sites since Opening Day, ahead of Aaron Judge and Pete Crow-Armstrong.
Shohei Ohtani has ranked first in Major League Baseball jersey sales for a fourth consecutive season, according to rankings released by MLB and MLB Players, Inc. The league says he is the first player to lead the rankings for four straight seasons since tracking began in 2010.
The rankings cover Nike jersey sales across Fanatics sites, including MLBShop.com, since Opening Day. No sales totals were provided.
New York Yankees player Aaron Judge placed second, followed by Chicago Cubs outfielder Pete Crow-Armstrong in third. MLB’s ranking puts Atlanta’s Ronald Acuña Jr. fourth and San Diego’s Fernando Tatis Jr. fifth.
Crow-Armstrong’s position follows a season in which he reportedly became the first Cubs player, and the seventh in MLB history, to record at least 40 home runs and 40 stolen bases. His third-place finish is the highest for a Cubs player since Javier Báez also placed third in 2018.
Four Dodgers players were among the top 10: Ohtani, Freddie Freeman at sixth, Mookie Betts at eighth and Yoshinobu Yamamoto at ninth. The top 10 also included Bryce Harper at seventh and Juan Soto at 10th.
