Betting on the Ohio State–Texas college football clash is running in both directions, according to a Fox Sports report, with Caesars reporting slightly more money on Texas and the Over.

Caesars opened Texas as a 1.5-point home favourite. The total has risen from 47.5 to 49.5, although Caesars football trading head Joey Feazel said the number may not continue higher and could fall if sharp bettors move towards the Under.

Both teams entered Week 2 with 1–0 records straight up and against the spread. Ohio State defeated Ball State 56–3, while Texas beat Texas State 59–7.

Feazel expects stronger public support for Texas late in the betting cycle. The teams’ previous meeting, a heavily bet game, ended with Ohio State winning 14–7.

The Fox Sports report also covered Oklahoma’s visit to Michigan. Oklahoma opened as a 5.5-point road favourite, briefly moved to 6 or 6.5, and returned to 5.5. Michigan attracted reported sharp action at +6.5 after narrowly beating Western Michigan 13–12, while Oklahoma defeated UTEP 51–0.
