Florida State coach Mike Norvell has been named CBS Sports’ ACC Coach of the Week after the Seminoles defeated Virginia 38–7. CBS Sports’ Matt Zenitz announced the selection, according to the Yahoo Sports/FSU Wire article.

The win was Florida State’s first Power Four victory of the season. The team improved to 3–2 overall and 1–1 in ACC play.

Florida State scored 38 unanswered points after trailing 7–0. Quarterback Ashton Daniels ran for 136 yards and five touchdowns, while the defence recorded 10 sacks and held Virginia to 205 total yards.
