North Korea fires short-range missiles as Trump floats summit with Kim
Pyongyang’s latest test comes amid scaled-back joint drills and fresh diplomatic signals from Washington.
North Korea fired several short-range ballistic missiles on Thursday, according to South Korean officials. The launches occurred against a backdrop of shifting diplomatic signals between Washington and Pyongyang, as well as ongoing military cooperation between Seoul and the United States.
