NFL teams have issued their initial injury reports for Week 1 of the 2026 regular season, providing an early indication of player participation ahead of the opening games.

CBS Sports reported that Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Joey Porter Jr. was limited by a back issue. Porter is not ruled out, and veteran Asante Samuel Jr. is expected to start if he cannot play.

Tennessee Titans linebacker Cedric Gray did not practise because of a concussion. Titans coach Robert Saleh said Gray could clear concussion protocol by the end of the week, but his availability remains uncertain. Defensive end Keldric Faulk was a full participant.

The Indianapolis Colts listed safety AJ Haulcy, tight end Drew Ogletree, wide receiver Alec Pierce and centre Sedrick Van Pran-Granger as limited. New England running back Henderson was ruled out, while Seattle safety Emmanwori continued working back from ankle surgery.

NFL teams are required to issue three injury reports during the week. The final report includes game designations, while inactive players must be announced 90 minutes before kick-off.
