Denver has won two straight after a Week 1 loss, despite what CBS Sports describes as a difficult opening schedule. The report points to the Broncos’ defence against opposing quarterbacks as a strength, while flagging inconsistent play, including a first-half deficit against the Rams, as a concern.
Green Bay is 1–2 and alone at the bottom of the NFC North, according to the report. CBS Sports cites problems across the team, including the offensive line, defence and running game, and says addressing those shortcomings will take sustained work.
The report also previews Broncos–49ers and Patriots–Bills, describing the former as a test for two teams with five consecutive wins between them. It says a Bills win could reinforce Buffalo’s position among the league’s leading teams, while New England could fall further behind.
