Daniels returns to limited practice as London decision nears

Jayden Daniels has returned to limited practice as the Washington Commanders prepare to face the Indianapolis Colts in London on Sunday. Coach Dan Quinn said Wednesday it was too early to determine whether the quarterback would play or start.
Daniels dislocated his left elbow against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 2 and missed Washington’s game against Seattle. Quinn said Daniels could take on more practice work later this week, with the team assessing his workload on Thursday and Friday.
Quinn said Washington expected to make a definite determination by Friday. If Daniels plays, he could wear a brace on the injured elbow.
Marcus Mariota started against Seattle and threw three touchdown passes in Washington’s 33–31 win. Daniels had dislocated the same elbow last season.
