The new Seattle Seahawks ownership group will meet the media at Lumen Field on Wednesday, about six hours before the team’s season opener against the New England Patriots.

Vinod, Neeru and Neal Khosla are expected to speak at the press conference, according to Yahoo Sports, citing the Seattle Times.

It will be the family’s first public comments since the purchase of the franchise was approved two weeks earlier. The event is scheduled for the day of the Seahawks’ first game under the new ownership.

The source identifies Vinod Khosla as team chairman, Neeru Khosla as controlling owner and Neal Khosla as a presumed future owner.

The press conference will give the new ownership group its first public platform as the Seahawks begin a new phase under the Khosla family.
