NASA invites creatives to partner on mission storytelling
Filmmakers, songwriters and other artists can submit proposals by June 30 to collaborate on Artemis, nuclear propulsion and aeronautics projects.

NASA has published an Announcement for Proposals seeking creative partners to assist with mission storytelling. The initiative, published on May 21, invites filmmakers, documentarians, songwriters, storytellers, poets and other creatives to collaborate with the agency. The call covers topics including Artemis Moon missions, nuclear propulsion and aeronautics.
The space agency is seeking up to 10 partners for unfunded Space Act Agreements. These agreements are a mechanism for NASA to collaborate with external entities to advance mission objectives, often without immediate federal funding. Applicants must detail their desired area of focus, funding and distribution arrangements, and specific needs from NASA, such as access to facilities or personnel.
While the opportunity is primarily focused on US creators, proposals with a minority of international participants will be considered. The deadline for submission of proposals is Tuesday, June 30. The specific criteria for selecting the partners have not been detailed in the source material.
Space Act Agreements allow NASA to work with outside groups to further its goals. The Artemis programme is the agency’s current initiative to return humans to the Moon. Nuclear propulsion and advanced aeronautics remain key areas of NASA’s exploration and innovation strategy.
Applicants are encouraged to review full requirements and other details available online. The announcement was issued by Camille Gallo and Cheryl Warner at NASA Headquarters in Washington.
