Marie McManamon set for Yu Yau Pui bout at ONE Fight Night 48
The British former ONE world title challenger will meet Hong Kong’s Yu Yau Pui in an atomweight contest on 3 October.
Britain’s Marie McManamon will face Hong Kong’s Yu Yau Pui in an atomweight Muay Thai bout at ONE Fight Night 48 on 3 October, according to Sky Sports.
The fight is scheduled for the undercard of Paul Elliott’s heavyweight world title bout against Shamil Erdogan. Sky Sports also reports that the event will be available live on its coverage in the early hours of Saturday.
McManamon, a former ONE world title challenger, is reported to be returning after a loss to Selina Flores. She has also held Victory League and Roar Fighting Championship titles.
Yu Yau Pui reportedly began competing in ONE Friday Fights in 2023 and recorded four knockout wins in five bouts before securing a US$100,000 ONE Championship contract.
The card is also expected to include Luke Lessei against Charlie Guest, with the winner reported to be in contention for a challenge for Nico Carrillo’s featherweight title.
