Guard Kayla McBride delivered a performance that redefined offensive efficiency, scoring a career-high 43 points in the process. McBride established a new WNBA record by hitting 10 three-pointers, shooting 10-of-13 from beyond the arc. Her overall field goal percentage stood at 15-for-19, marking the seventh time this season she has connected on four or more shots from deep.
Despite playing the second game of a back-to-back set, the Lynx displayed no signs of fatigue. McBride’s scoring output was supported by significant contributions from her teammates, ensuring the team maintained control throughout the contest against the Wings.
Rookie Olivia Miles continued her standout season, recording 20 points and 13 assists while shooting 5-of-8 from three-point range. Napheesa Collier added 17 points to the effort, complementing her scoring with eight rebounds, four steals, and one block.
