The 25-year-old former Indiana Hoosier has distinguished himself through a combination of coverage instincts and physicality, recording multiple pass breakups, an interception, a tackle for loss, and a forced fumble in a single practice session.
Head coach Jeff Hafley’s defensive scheme relies heavily on the utilisation of multiple safeties and frequent rotations, a structural preference that has benefited Moore. With the Dolphins’ safety group considered thin heading into the pre-season, Moore’s versatility allows him to line up as a free safety, in the slot, or up in the box, making him a prime candidate among undrafted free agents to secure a roster spot.
Veteran safety Zayne Anderson has publicly acknowledged Moore’s contributions, highlighting his tenacity and potential impact on both defence and special teams.
