RB Leipzig have received a reported injury boost before their Champions League opener against Como in Italy on Thursday night, with four players returning to team training.

According to Bild, Brajan Gruda and Castello Lukeba have rejoined the squad after missing Leipzig’s 3–1 defeat by Werder Bremen at the weekend.

Romulo and Assan Ouédraogo have also returned to team training after knee and shoulder problems respectively. Neither player has featured this season.

The updates do not confirm that any of the four players has been cleared to face Como. Leipzig’s training status will need to be followed by formal squad information ahead of the match.

Christoph Baumgartner and Rocco Reitz remain sidelined. Coach Martin Demichelis is expected to provide further details at his pre-match press conference on Wednesday evening.
