Koke reportedly matches Charlton’s 746-appearance record
The Atlético Madrid midfielder reached the milestone as a substitute in a 3–0 win over Real Sociedad, according to Yahoo Sports.

Atlético Madrid midfielder Koke has reportedly matched Bobby Charlton’s Manchester United appearance record after making his 746th appearance for the Spanish club.
The 34-year-old came off the bench in Atlético’s 3–0 victory over Real Sociedad. The source package does not provide the date of the match.
Yahoo Sports reported that the appearance equalled Charlton’s figure for Manchester United. It does not specify whether the total covers league matches, competitive fixtures or all appearances.
Charlton spent 17 years at United and was previously described as holding the club’s appearance and goalscoring records. Those marks were later surpassed by Ryan Giggs and Wayne Rooney, according to the report.
The report said Koke now sits behind seven players for one-club appearances: Giggs, Paolo Maldini, Javier Zanetti, Igor Akinfeev, Francesco Totti, Giuseppe Bergomi and Jean-Luc Ettori.
