Jackson Koivun secured his first professional victory at the 3M Open in Blaine, Minnesota, finishing three strokes clear of world number one Scottie Scheffler. The 21-year-old American recorded a tournament-record 25-under 259, a feat achieved in only his third start as a professional. Koivun, who led Auburn to the NCAA championship last month, maintained a bogey-free round of 65-under 66 on a 97-degree afternoon at TPC Twin Cities to seal the win.

Scheffler surged into contention with a closing 63, playing five groups ahead of Koivun, but ultimately finished as runner-up. This result marks Scheffler’s fourth second-place finish of the season, with his only victory this year coming at The American Express in California.
