Harry Kane matched Peter Shilton’s record of 125 appearances for England as the hosts beat Czechia 3–0 at Wembley in the Nations League. The captain scored twice, taking his international tally to 91.

England opened the scoring in the 27th minute when Vladimir Coufal put the ball into his own net from a Kane cross. Kane then finished a move shortly before half-time and headed in from Lewis Hall’s corner in the 57th minute.

The win leaves England with nine points after four Group A3 matches, three behind leaders Spain, according to Al Jazeera, which reported the result.

Kane is already England’s record goalscorer. His appearance milestone places him level with Shilton, who held the men’s team record alone.
