Josh Allen urges NFL to rethink international travel scheduling

Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen has called for changes to the NFL’s approach to international scheduling, arguing teams should be able to travel closer to game day.
Speaking on The Player’s Box Podcast, Allen described Buffalo’s 2023 trip to London as “kind of a nightmare”. He said the team was told to stay awake after arriving and favoured remaining in the United States before travelling the day before a game.
The Bills lost 25–20 to the Jacksonville Jaguars at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in a Week 5 fixture. Buffalo entered the game with a 3–1 record and recorded 11 penalties for 109 yards.
Allen threw for 359 yards and two touchdowns from 40 attempts, but did not attribute the defeat solely to the travel arrangements. He said Buffalo had to be ready to play and that Jacksonville deserved the win.
