Josh Allen has moved to the top of Nick Wright’s latest “Mahomes Mountain” quarterback hierarchy after the opening week of the NFL season.

The personal rankings, published by Fox Sports, place Allen ahead of a field that includes Patrick Mahomes, Caleb Williams, Trevor Lawrence and Lamar Jackson. The list reflects Wright’s assessment of Week 1 performances rather than an official NFL ranking.

Caleb Williams rises to the third row after what Wright described as possibly the best game of his career. Mahomes moves down from the top spot, while Matthew Stafford also drops.

Elsewhere, Wright kept Jared Goff in place and said Joe Burrow would remain on the fourth row after recovering from a pick-six. Jalen Hurts moved up following three major plays in Philadelphia’s victory, according to Wright.

Wright said Sam Darnold, Kyler Murray and Tua Tagovailoa were removed from the hierarchy because of injuries. He also listed Deshaun Watson, Cooper Rush, Cam Ward and Malik Willis as off the mountain because of their play.
