The Minnesota Twins are scheduled to face the Detroit Tigers in Game 144, with Joe Ryan listed to return as Minnesota’s starting pitcher against Detroit’s Troy Melton.

The game is scheduled for a 2:10 pm Central Time first pitch. Twins coverage will be available on Twins.TV, with radio coverage listed on TIBN, 830 WCCO, 102.9 The Wolf and the Audacy app, according to Yahoo Sports.

Minnesota’s playoff prospects have declined after a second-half collapse. The source report links the team’s recent difficulties partly to injuries affecting key players, including Byron Buxton, Ryan and Carlos Correa.

The Twins have also seen encouraging performances from emerging players and prospects, including Kaelen Culpepper, Luke Keaschall, Brooks Lee, Walker Jenkins, Zebby Matthews and Connor Prielipp.

Melton will make his third appearance against Minnesota this season. The Twins have hit him effectively in their two earlier meetings, according to the report.
