James leads Lakers past Clippers in overtime comeback
The Lakers overturned a 19-point deficit to beat the Clippers 130–125 and end an 11-game losing streak in the rivalry.

LeBron James led the Los Angeles Lakers to a 130–125 overtime victory over the Los Angeles Clippers on 1 November 2023, ending the Lakers’ 11-game losing streak against their city rivals.
The Clippers established control early, building a 37–18 lead late in the first quarter. James responded with 15 points in the second quarter, but the Lakers still trailed 61–48 at half-time.
A 19–4 Lakers run in the third quarter shifted the game, putting the team in front. The Lakers then surrendered an eight-point lead late in regulation before recovering in overtime.
James finished with 35 points, 12 rebounds and seven assists, shooting 13 of 19 from the field. Anthony Davis and D’Angelo Russell each added 27 points.
