Liverpool forward Alexander Isak has described Bradley Barcola as a major signing and said the squad expects the winger to improve the team.

Barcola reportedly joined Liverpool from Paris Saint-Germain for an initial £106 million. He played for about an hour in his full debut against Atlético Madrid at Anfield, with Yahoo Sports reporting Liverpool won 2–1.

Isak said Barcola’s previous achievements were already well known and that Liverpool were confident he could make a significant contribution. Barcola has won the Champions League in each of the past two seasons, according to the report.

The Swedish striker also said he wanted to develop an understanding with Barcola as Liverpool continue to integrate their latest high-profile recruit.

Isak said he was in good form after scoring three goals in three Premier League appearances. He added that he wanted to maintain his scoring rhythm after scoring twice against Ipswich Town.
