Inter U23 secure season opener with 2-1 away win at Catania

The match began with Catania taking the initiative, threatening the Inter goal early on. However, the hosts’ early intensity faded as the game became more cagey, allowing Inter to find their rhythm through a combination between Mosconi and Lavelli. The deadlock was broken in the 39th minute when Maye met a corner from Marello, timing his run to put the ball past the keeper.
