VOTE for HSS North Jersey Lacrosse Player of the Week for May 11-17
High School Sports North Jersey poll highlights standout performances from May 11–17

High School Sports North Jersey (HSS) has formally opened voting for the Lacrosse Player of the Week, covering the period from May 11 to 17. The annual poll invites the public to select the top performer from a field of athletes who delivered significant statistical contributions across the region’s high school competitions.

The voting roster features Blanchard, who recently reached a career milestone of 200 points. During the voting window, he recorded 13 goals, six assists, and 13 ground balls, helping his team, the Golden Knights, secure three victories. His performance underscores a consistent level of output that has defined his tenure with the squad.

Goalkeeping performances also feature prominently in the nomination list. Frisco posted a .778 save percentage across three wins, making 28 saves from 36 shots faced. His defensive stability was evident in his ability to hold all three opponents to fewer than five goals each, providing a critical foundation for his team’s success.

Offensive firepower was highlighted by Gautier, who continued a breakout season by scoring a hat-trick in a victory over Paramus Catholic. He added a goal and two assists in a subsequent upset of Tenafly in the Jacobson Division. His ability to generate scoring opportunities in key matchups has drawn attention from the organisation’s selectors.

Other notable nominees include Sellitto, a recruit committed to Stony Brook, who scored six goals and recorded one assist in a win over Montclair, followed by four goals against Madison. He also contributed defensively by stopping 26 of 36 shots. The poll also recognises DeWitt, who made 22 saves on 25 shots to support the Warriors’ defensive efforts, and Moran, who tallied 15 goals and five assists to lead her team to three wins.

Rookie impact was acknowledged through Willemin, who recorded four goals, six assists, and eight draw controls to lift the Patriots past Holy Angels and Mount St. Dominic. She currently sits among the top rookies in North Jersey with 65 career points. The HSS poll remains open for public submission, allowing voters to weigh these statistical achievements against their own observations of the week’s games.
