Houston Dash extends Rebeca Costa da Silva loan to Dux Logroño
The NWSL club confirmed the extension on June 2, 2026, following a productive campaign for the Spanish side.

The Houston Dash has confirmed that defender Rebeca Costa da Silva will remain on loan with Spanish Liga F club Dux Logroño until June 30, 2027. The announcement, issued by the club on June 2, 2026, ensures the defender continues her development in Spain’s top-tier women’s league for the 2026-2027 season.
Costa da Silva originally joined the Houston Dash from Brazilian club Cruzeiro at the start of the 2025 season. She was subsequently loaned to Dux Logroño that summer, marking her initial move to the Spanish side. The extension formalises her continued presence in Liga F, allowing the NWSL team to retain her services while she gains experience abroad.
During the current season, the defender has established herself as a regular starter for Dux Logroño. She has made 26 appearances for the club, including 24 starts, contributing one goal and one assist to the team’s campaign. Her consistent playing time underscores the club’s reliance on her defensive capabilities during this loan period.
The Houston Dash’s decision to extend the loan agreement highlights a strategic approach to player development, prioritising first-team football in a competitive European environment over immediate return to the United States. This arrangement allows the club to monitor her progress within the Liga F structure while maintaining contractual control.
Costa da Silva’s tenure with Dux Logroño represents a significant phase in her career following her transfer from Cruzeiro. By securing the loan through mid-2027, the Houston Dash ensures she remains integrated with a squad that has provided her with substantial playing opportunities since her arrival in Spain.
