Herbert slips in CBS Sports’ Week 4 Dynasty rankings
The quarterback remains just inside the top 10 after a slow start, while CBS Sports’ update flags value changes linked to injuries and playing roles.

CBS Sports has updated its Dynasty Fantasy football rankings for quarterbacks, running backs, wide receivers and tight ends entering Week 4. The rankings cover full PPR leagues, with quarterbacks assessed for Superflex formats.
Justin Herbert, Cam Ward and Malik Willis each slid a few places after slow starts, according to the article’s assessment. Herbert remains just inside the top 10 quarterbacks, while Ward is still just inside the top 20. The update describes uncertainty around Willis as a concern, but the possibility that he could lose his Fantasy starting role is speculative.
The author also says September injuries reduced the Dynasty values of De’Von Achane, Jayden Daniels, A.J. Brown and Jonathon Brooks. These are assessments of player value rather than formal team decisions.
Among non-injury declines at other positions, the update names Kenneth Gainwell, Tyrone Tracy, Marvin Harrison Jr., Travis Hunter and Kyle Pitts. It links concerns about Gainwell and Tracy to their playing roles, and says Hunter’s limited opportunity reflects time spent on defence.
The rankings are intended to be updated during the season, with the next official update planned for late October. CBS Sports notes that contenders may value established older players more highly, while rebuilders may favour younger players.
