GTA 6 Ultimate Edition draws almost 90% of pre-orders at $20 premium
Sensor Tower estimates the premium edition is dominating early pre-orders, though its share could fall as more casual buyers enter the market.

Grand Theft Auto VI’s $99.99 Ultimate Edition is attracting almost 90% of early pre-orders, despite costing $20 more than the $79.99 Standard Edition, according to figures cited by Engadget.
Sensor Tower estimates that the Ultimate Edition accounts for 88.5% of PlayStation pre-orders and 90% of Xbox pre-orders. The figures are estimates rather than company-reported data. Sensor Tower expects the split to move closer to 50/50 as more casual buyers pre-order ahead of the game’s expected November launch.
The premium package includes five exclusive shops, two side-mission strands and three vehicles. Buyers also receive the Hawk & Little Morgan Revolvers, weapon skins, and the Vice City Styles and Goodtime Gear outfit packs.
Rockstar has reportedly said the bonuses will be threaded through the game and uncovered as players progress through each story chapter, rather than being available entirely at launch. Players will reportedly be able to upgrade from the Standard Edition after release.
Take-Two Interactive has not published its own pre-order breakdown. Chief executive Strauss Zelnick has said pre-orders are skewing towards the premium edition, but the company has not confirmed the percentages cited by Sensor Tower.
The available material does not confirm early access for the Ultimate Edition. Rockstar has also not specified release-unlock timings or how different time zones will be handled.
