Grand Canyon University baseball defeated Arizona 9-8 on Tuesday, April 28, securing a walk-off victory that handed the Lopes the season series against their rivals. The contest, played at Brazell Field, saw the home team overcome a substantial deficit to claim a decisive result in the spring sports schedule.

Heading into the bottom of the ninth inning, Arizona held a commanding 8-4 lead. However, the momentum shifted dramatically as Grand Canyon scored five consecutive runs to take the game.
