The official daily schedule for the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow has been published, setting out the competition timeline for more than 3,000 athletes representing 74 Commonwealth nations and territories. The Games will feature 215 medal events distributed across 10 sports, with the timetable providing specific timings for heats, qualifications, and finals.

The first medals of the tournament will be awarded in powerlifting, marking the commencement of the sporting programme. The schedule details a dense array of events, including the men's team final in artistic gymnastics and nine swimming finals. Prominent athletes listed in the programme include Scotland’s Duncan Scott and England’s Adam Ramsay-Peaty in the pool, alongside England’s Emily Campbell in weightlifting.

Netball fixtures are central to the early stages of the Games, with the host nation Scotland set to play New Zealand at the Hydro. The programme also highlights a group stage clash between England and Australia, alongside matches involving Northern Ireland, Wales, Uganda, and other Commonwealth nations. England is aiming to defend its women’s gymnastics team title, while individual all-around championships will be contested in the same discipline.

The athletics programme features significant attention on defending champion Eilish McColgan, who is listed to defend her 10,000m title.
