College Football

The No. 2 Georgia Bulldogs travel to Fayetteville on Saturday to face the Arkansas Razorbacks in a Week 3 college football matchup. The game is scheduled for noon ET at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium, with Georgia entering the contest with a perfect 2-0 record. The Bulldogs have started the 2026 season strongly behind returning quarterback Gunner Stockton, establishing themselves as 24.5-point favourites in the latest betting odds.

Arkansas enters the game with a 1-1 record, having opened the season with a 31-14 victory over North Alabama before suffering a 43-10 defeat at No. 20 Utah. The Razorbacks’ quarterback, KJ Jackson, is described as still working to find consistency against tougher competition. Their recent offensive struggles are evident in their last outing, where they managed only 10 points in a lopsided loss.

SportsLine’s computer model, which simulates every FBS game 10,000 times, has released its prediction for the matchup. The model projects the Under on the 54.5-point total, with the Under clearing in 54 per cent of simulations. The advanced projection calls for 52 combined points to be scored, suggesting a tight contest despite the significant point spread.

The model’s forecast is driven by Georgia’s defensive performance, which has allowed just 23 combined points in its first two games against Tennessee State and Western Kentucky. Conversely, Arkansas’s offence has shown limitations, with both of their first two games of the season going Under the total. This defensive dominance and offensive inconsistency provide the model with little reason to expect a high-scoring environment in Fayetteville.

SportsLine notes that its model is on a 33-21 run on top-rated college football money-line picks since the 2024 season. The system has been upgraded for the 2026 season to better factor in the transfer portal, aiming to provide more accurate projections for the current landscape of college football.

While the model predicts the Under, it also indicates that one side of the spread hits well over five per cent of simulations. The specific winner and spread pick are reserved for SportsLine subscribers, who can access the full details of the advanced model’s recommendations.
