GE Vernova Shares Outpace Dow Over 12 Months Despite Recent Pullback
GE Vernova gained 57.3 per cent over the past year, well ahead of the Dow’s 17.1 per cent rise, while analysts retained a reported Strong Buy consensus.

GE Vernova shares have outperformed the Dow Jones Industrial Average over the past 12 months, rising 57.3 per cent compared with the index’s 17.1 per cent gain, according to a report carried by Yahoo Finance.
The performance has been less consistent over shorter periods. GE Vernova fell 2.2 per cent over the past three months and was reported to be 21.2 per cent below its 52-week high of US$1,195.94, reached on 6 July.
The Cambridge, Massachusetts-based electricity technology company operates across Power, Wind and Electrification. It serves industrial, government and other customers through technologies including gas, nuclear, hydro, steam and renewable energy systems.
GE Vernova’s reported market capitalisation of US$250.9 billion places it in the mega-cap category. The company recorded annualised revenue growth of 10.7 per cent over two years, while earnings per share grew at a compound annual rate of 169 per cent. Its cash-flow margin expanded 45.3 per cent over four years.
The stock has also outperformed Eaton, whose shares rose 18 per cent over the same reported period. Analysts covering GE Vernova maintained a consensus Strong Buy rating, with a mean price target of US$1,257.07. The rating and target reflect reported analyst expectations and are not a guarantee of future performance.
